Votive, lantern or hurricane?
Votive holders are small and suit tea lights, so they are ideal for grouping along a dining table or windowsill. Lanterns, such as the Grecian and boho wire designs, are larger and more architectural, giving a focal point on a mantelpiece, hearth or floor.
A hurricane candle holder surrounds the flame with a glass shade, which protects it from draughts and gives a steady glow. Choose the style based on the space and how much presence you want the piece to have. A pair of matching lanterns either side of a mirror or fireplace gives a balanced, symmetrical look.
Real or LED candles?
For the gold wire wall sconce, we recommend remote controlled LED candles, which give a soft glow without an open flame on the wall. LED candles also suit lanterns placed near soft furnishings or used outdoors.
If you prefer real candles, use them in the glass votive and hurricane holders on a stable, heat safe surface and never leave them unattended. Keep a little space between the flame and any glass to avoid discolouring, and trim wicks before lighting for a cleaner burn.
Delivery and returns
Candle holders are dispatched within 24 hours when in stock and usually arrive within 2 to 3 days on the UK mainland. Delivery is £5 on orders under £100 and £20 above £100.
Returns or exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery in the original packaging, except ex-display items. We are unable to deliver to the Highlands and Islands at the moment.
