Both are low-pile rugs with an 8mm pile height, made from 65% polyester and 35% polypropylene fibres. A low pile sits flat under coffee tables and sofa legs, is easy to vacuum and works well in busier rooms. At 160cm by 220cm, they suit a living room seating area, the space beneath a coffee table or the side of a double bed.
These designs pair naturally with silver, grey and gold accessories. Place one in front of a sofa and build up with metallic cushions, or ground a glass or marble coffee table with a rug that echoes its finish.

Is a 160 x 220cm rug right for my room?
A 160cm by 220cm rug is a versatile size for many UK living rooms. A common approach is to place it so the front legs of the sofa and armchairs rest on the rug, with the coffee table centred on top. This links the seating into one zone.
In a bedroom, a rug of this size can sit under the lower part of a double or king size bed, leaving soft floor to step onto either side. Measure your space and leave a border of floor visible around the edges.
Silver and taupe or grey and gold?
Choose silver and taupe for a cooler scheme. It suits grey sofas, chrome or silver accents and mirrored furniture. The high shine material gives a subtle sparkle without bold pattern.
Choose light grey and gold if your room includes brass, gold or champagne finishes. The geometric lines add structure, which works well with modern furniture and marble effect tables. Both designs are abstract and neutral, so they sit comfortably in contemporary interiors. If you are unsure, pick the rug whose metal matches your lighting and mirror frames, as those finishes are the hardest to change later.
Delivery and returns
Rugs in stock are dispatched within 24 hours and usually arrive in 2 to 3 days to mainland UK addresses. Delivery costs £20 on orders over £100. We do not currently deliver to the Highlands and Islands, and Northern Ireland delivery is limited to dining chairs and bar stools.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery, with the item in its original packaging. Each rug has a one year standard manufacturer's guarantee, and you can pay in 3 interest-free with Klarna or PayPal.
