Our ginger jars and vases are designed to look finished with or without flowers. Most are ceramic, with white glazes lifted by gold: gilded, drip effect, crescent curved, leaf and raised abstract pattern designs, many offered in small, medium and tall sizes so you can group them as a set.

For a more dramatic, monochrome look, choose matt black and gold textured vases in round and rectangular shapes, a black ceramic ripple vase, a curved multi layered vase or a round diamond effect design with a twisting spiral. Light grey and gold geometric vases and gold gilded block pattern vases sit between the two palettes. The gold textured face vases in medium and large make a bold shelf statement.

Glass vases suit fresh or faux flowers: a wavy clear glass vase with a wide top, a ribbed tall glass vase in warm beige, an abstract ribbed vase in soft grey and a large grey bubbled glass vase on a brass foot. A round metallic silver vase with a textured wave pattern completes the range. Add dried or faux stems, or browse accessories and ornaments for pampas and sculptural pieces.

Fresh flowers, faux stems or none?

Glass vases, such as the wavy clear and ribbed beige designs, are the natural choice for fresh or faux flowers. Many ceramic vases have a slot or narrow opening that suits a few dried or faux stems, and several are designed to stand alone as sculptural objects.

Some decorative pieces, including the gold textured face vases, should not be used with water, so check the product page before adding fresh flowers. Pampas, eucalyptus or a single tall stem keeps the look modern. For glass vases, change fresh water every few days to keep the glass clear.

Grouping vases by size

Many of our vases come in two or three sizes, such as the white and gold gilded vase in rounded, small and tall, or the black and gold textured vase in small and tall. Grouping sizes from the same design gives a cohesive, styled look on a sideboard or console table.

Arrange in odd numbers and stagger the heights, placing the tallest piece at the back or to one side. On a dining table, a single low, broad vase keeps sightlines clear.

Delivery and returns

Vases are dispatched within 24 hours when in stock and usually arrive on the UK mainland within 2 to 3 days. Delivery is £5 on orders under £100 and £20 on orders over £100.

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery, in the original packaging. Ex-display items are non-returnable. We do not currently deliver to the Highlands and Islands.
