A throw blanket is the simplest way to add warmth and texture to a room. Our throws cover four distinct finishes. The ribbed faux fur blankets in cream and light grey measure 200cm by 140cm, a generous size for draping over a sofa or across a king size bed. The Malini Cosy throws in black and slate pair a soft velvet front with faux shearling on the reverse, at 150cm by 200cm.
For a more tailored look, the Knightsbridge grey velvet throw is quilted with an embroidered dot design and is sized as a generous king size throw. The cream fleece throw with a boho fringe is lighter and easy to wrap around your shoulders on cooler evenings.
Care differs by fabric. The faux fur blankets are dry clean only, the Knightsbridge velvet throw is machine washable, and the fringed fleece throw takes a cool wash. Layer a throw with velvet cushions in a matching shade, or see the full bedroom range for pieces to style around it.
A guide to our throws
Faux fur, shearling or quilted velvet?
Faux fur gives the most texture and a soft, ribbed pile. It works well folded at the foot of a bed or over the arm of a neutral sofa. Faux shearling, as on the Cosy throws, combines a smooth velvet side with a fleecy reverse, so you can show either face. Quilted velvet, like the Knightsbridge, has a padded, structured feel that suits a made bed or a formal living room.
For everyday use, the fringed fleece throw is the most relaxed and the easiest to wash.
Choosing a throw size
For a sofa, a throw around 130cm by 180cm drapes neatly over an arm or the back. For a bed, a larger throw works better. Our faux fur blankets at 200cm by 140cm and the Cosy shearling throws at 150cm by 200cm sit well across a double or king size bed as an extra layer.
The Knightsbridge velvet throw is described as a generous king size throw, so it suits larger beds where you want the throw to hang over both sides. Check each product page for its exact measurements.
Delivery and returns
Throws are dispatched within 24 hours when in stock, and smaller items usually reach mainland UK addresses in 2 to 3 days. Delivery is £5 on orders under £100 and £20 on orders over £100. We are not delivering to the Highlands and Islands at the moment.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery in original packaging. All non made-to-order items carry a one year standard manufacturer's guarantee, and you can pay in 3 interest-free with Klarna or PayPal.
